By Plane: Windsor Airpor is located approximately 12 km from the Red Bull Air Race venue.Taxis or hired cars are transportation options into the Downtown core.

By Train: VIA Rail Train Station is located just 3 km from the Red Bull Air Race venue at 298 Walker Road.Taxis, public transportation or a nice walk along the riverfront will bring you into the Downtown core. Both Bus-Greyhound and public transportation bring you into the Downtown core only blocks away from the Red Bull Air Race venue. Windsor Transit & Greyhound Buslines - 300 Chatham Street W Windsor

General Directions by foot: the Red Bull Air Race venue is located at the northbend of all major north/south roadways in the Downtown core. The race venue parameters are along Riverside Drive between Bruce Ave to the west and Parent Street to the east. Public Spectator Entry points into the venue are at Ouellette Ave and Aylmer street.Use Caesars Casino as your point of focus as all access points can be followed from the front of Caesars Windsor.

General Driving Directions:
From Toronto: From Hwy 401 take exit 3B. Dougall Road becomes Ouellette Ave. Follow into the Downtown core where there are many accessible public parking lots in downtown Windsor.
From the U.S.: Take M-10 (Lodge Freeway) or I-75 to I-375 into downtown Detroit, MI, follow signage to Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. Once through Customs turn left or right onto Park Street, where there are many accessible public parking lots in downtown Windsor.

Directions to High Flyer's Lounge, Windsor:
From Toronto: From Hwy 401 take exit 3B. Dougall Road becomes Ouellette Ave. Follow into the Downtown core. Turn right on University Avenue, travel to 1st set of lights, Goyeau Street and turn left. At first set of lights, Chatham Street turn left, High Flyer’s Lounge Parking entrance on immediate right. Entrance to the High Flyer’s Lounge is on Goyeau Street between Pitt Street and Riverside Drive.
From the U.S. : Take M-10 (Lodge Freeway) or I-75 to I-375 into downtown Detroit, MI, follow signage to Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. Once through Customs turn right onto Park Street. Turn left at 1st set of lights, Goyeau Street. At the 2nd set of lights, Chatham Street turn left, High Flyer’s Lounge Parking entrance on immediate right.

Parking: There are a number of convenient, ADA Accessible parking lots available throughout downtown Windsor a short walking distance from the venue. More information regarding parking is available through www.visitwindsor.ca.

Road Closure: Please note there will be a road closure on Riverside Drive between Bruce Avenue and Parent Ave for public traffic from 6:00 pm on Friday, June 12 until 6pm on Monday, June 15. There are Residential access points via Pitt Street (for Parent Avenue, Marentette Avenue, Louis Avenue, Aylmer Avenue, and Glengarry Ave.)

Other Information: Once you have arrived in Downtown Windsor there are a number of hotels, restaurants bars and Red Bull Air Race experiences you can enjoy within easy walking distance. You can find out more about what Windsor has to offer by inquiring with your hotel concierge or by visiting the Windsor Essex County tourism representative located near the check in reception of Caesars Windsor or www.visitwindsor.ca.

DOWNTOWN DETROIT, MICHIGAN

By plane: Detroit Metropolitan Airport is located approximately 21 miles from the Red Bull Air Race venue in Downtown Detroit. Taxis, hired cars, rental cars or Shuttle Vans are available options to downtown Detroit.

By train: The closest Amtrak Train station is located approximately 3.5 miles from the Red Bull Air Race venue, at 11 West Baltimore Street in Detroit. Taxis, rental cars or DDOT buses are available transportation options to downtown Detroit. Exiting from the bus station, turn right on to Woodward Avenue and continue southbound on Woodward until it ends at East Jefferson Avenue. The various Public Spectator Areas will be signposted.

By bus: Bus service within downtown and throughout the Southeast Michigan region is available via DDOT and SMART bus service lines while the Greyhound Bus Station, serving locations outside of Metro Detroit, is located at 1001 Howard Street, which is less than 1 mile to the Red Bull Air Race venue. Taxis and hired cars are available from the bus station.

General Directions by foot: The Red Bull Air Race venue is located adjacent to the Detroit River, east to west along Atwater Street bound by Rivard Street on the east and Steve Izerman Drive on the West. The main points of entry are located at Steve Izerman Drive, just west of Joe Louis Arena; at Hart Plaza, located at the foot of Woodward and East Jefferson Avenues; and at St. Antoine and Atwater Streets, just east of the Renaissance Center complex. Detroit’s downtown is fairly compact and walkable, but the Detroit People Mover is a good option if you want quick access to one end of the Red Bull Air Race venue to the other. The route stops 13 times around downtown’s entertainment and business areas as well as at major hotels and Cobo Center. The appropriate stations to use to access the Red Bull Air Race venue are Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Center, Millender Center and Renaissance Center.

Driving Directions: No surprise, but the best way to get around the Motor City is by car. Detroit offers one of the best freeway systems in the country and reasonably priced parking lots are plentiful in the downtown core.

From the West or Northwest: Take I-696, I-96 or I-94 east bound until reaching the John C. Lodge Freeway. Take the Lodge Freeway southbound until it ends and merges on to East Jefferson Avenue, which is adjacent to the Red Bull Air Race Venue.
From the North or East: Take I-75 southbound to I-375 southbound until it ends and merges on to East Jefferson Avenue, which is adjacent to the Red Bull Air Race Venue.
From the South: Take I-75 northbound to I-375 southbound until it ends and merges on to East Jefferson Avenue, which is adjacent to the Red Bull Air Race Venue.

Parking: There are a number of ADA accessible parking facilities near the Red Bull Air Race venue. There are several parking areas close to the Renaissance Centre located off of Beaubien Street between Jefferson Avenue and Atwater Street. For patrons in the Joe Louis or Hart Plaza zones, parking is also available in the Cobo Hall or Joe Louis Arena parking decks. All of these lots are ADA accessible. Road closure: Please note there will be a Road Closure between Rivard Street and Steve Izerman Drive (on west side of Joe Louis Arena) from 8 am on Friday, June 12 until 10am on Monday, June 15. Rules of the house

1. Entry to the restricted areas of the event will only be permitted with a valid pass.
2. All persons entering the event will be subject to search, on request.
3. All bags and rucksacks are to be opened for inspection on entry. No Alcohol to be brought on site!
4. No food or beverages are allowed onsite
5. People who display aggression or are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be refused entry.
6. Instructions given by security staff must be complied with.
7. The emergency exits are to remain accessible at all times.
8. All kinds of weapons and objects that may be used as projectiles may not be brought into the event (e.g. Parasol, Chair, Glass...).
9. Any criminal activity will be reported to the Police immediately.
10. Any drug violation or possession of narcotics will be reported to the Police immediately.
11. No food or beverages are allowed on site.
12. No animals are allowed on site with the exception of guide dogs and police dogs.

General information: There will be a range of food and beverages available for purchase onsite. The official Red Bull Air Race Merchandise and special Souvenir Program will also be available to fans at conveniently located shops in every Spectator Zone. For patrons needing information or assistance onsite, there will be a Speactor Services tent near the entrance of every Spectator Zone offering Event Information, assistance with Lost and Found and First Aid. All of the public spectator zones in both Windsor and Detroit are ADA accessible. There is an ADA accessible entrance for Windsor Race Club patrons, located at Glengarry St. and Riverside Drive. All other Race Club Patrons to access via Goyeau Street.

Not Allowed in the Ticketing and Hospitality Areas: Coolers, Umbrellas, Alcohol, Any beverages, Guns, knives or fireworks, Grills, Outside Food, Pets, Tables, Tents, Bikes (other than security and emergency personnel), Skateboards, Rollerblades, Unfoldable Chairs.
No cloakroom facilities are available onsite so any restricted items will need to be left outside the gates.

OK to Bring in the Ticketing Areas ONLY: Foldable Chairs, Cameras, Blankets, Stadium Seat Cushions, Strollers, Sealed bottled water, Baby Food.

Important: A ticket is valid ONLY if the center piece is still attached to it! For instance, a 2-day ticket holder will get the Qualifying stub teared off on the Qualifying Day, and will walk away with the remaining ticket for Race Day. It is important that you keep with you the entire ticket together with the center piece.

Canadian Club Brand Center: Located in Walkerville, along Riverside Drive, stop by to learn about Canadian Club Whisky on the site where it all began in 1858. Tour the original Executive Office Building (built 1894) and discover the history of this world-renowned brand and its founding family. Also featured on the tour is a history of how Canadian Club prospered during the Prohibition era and came to be the #1 whisky in the United States, along with artifacts chronicling this colourful period in time. A production video teaches visitors the unique manufacturing process that puts Canadian whisky in a category all its own. The tour ends with a formal whiskey tasting of the Canadian Club portfolio and a souvenir glass.

Willistead Manor: This 16th century Tudor-Jacobean-style mansion was built in 1906. It was built for Edward Chandler Walker, the second son of Hiram Walker, founder of the world-renowned distillery. It includes massive oak doors, beautiful fireplaces, elaborate posts, high ceilings and wide staircases. Operated by the City of Windsor, this facility is a popular venue for public, private and cultural events.

Mackenzie Hall: Built in 1855 by Alexander MacKenzie, Canada’s second Prime Minister, this beautiful courthouse proudly honours its historical past while adapting to the demands of today. It offers understated elegance and traditional ambiance.

Fort Malden National Historic Site: This 11-acre historic site, located in Amherstburg, is operated by Parks Canada. Visit the fort where Canada forged its destiny. It was constructed in 1796 as a strategic military post during the War of 1812 and the Rebellion of 1837. Experience a soldier’s life through exhibits, demonstrations, living quarters and artifacts.

Canadian Transportation Museum & Historic Village: This site welcomes you to a turn of the century village located in the midst of 22 wooded hectares in the heart of Essex County. Visit this quaint village that includes a general store, the Elford church, a schoolhouse, the Tecumseh train station and some fascinating antique cars. Admission fee.

Point Pelee National Park is a small green oasis that juts out into Lake Erie. The Park is internationally known for its spring and fall migrations of birds and monarch butterflies. A transit service transports visitors to the Tip from April to October. Interpretive programs and exhibits are featured at the Visitors Centre. Visitors can rent bicycles and canoes at the Marsh Boardwalk, or hike and swim. Entrance fee charged.

Devonshire Mall dominates the retail landscape in Windsor and the lower southern expanse of Ontario with over 175 stores and services and over 1 million square feet of shopping space.
