We've landed in Chiba for round three of 2016

Race Airport takes shape in Chiba

We're back in the Japanese city of Chiba, across from Tokyo Bay, for the third round of the 2016 Red Bull Air Race World Championship and all signs are good for another dramatic weekend of racing. Local hero Yoshi Muroya has his sights set on taking his first ever race win and will have huge support from the home fans to bolster him.

Free Practice starts on Friday at 0950 local time with the Challenger Cup pilots first out into the track – the first and only racetrack to be flown over open water in 2016 – before the Master Class take off at 1050. On Saturday 04 June Challenger Cup Qualifying takes place at 1520 local time, followed by Master Class Qualifying at 1600.

Tickets are still available if you don't want to miss seeing the action in person and we'll have full race coverage here and on our LIVE blog.
