PUTRAJAYA

Peter Besenyei flies over Putrajaya in Malaysia

A truly unique place to live, work and play, Putrajaya represents the coming-of-age of Malaysia as a dynamic and progressive member of the global community committed to the concept of sustainable development. The city's ethos is to demonstrate the importance of a balanced life, empowering individuals to work hard and spend their free time enjoying what life has to offer.

Built in the early 1990s, Putrajaya is located 25km south of Kuala Lumpur. The city is the world's first 'plan driven' city based on two concepts – the garden and the intelligent city. A mixture of rainforest and Government ministries, Putrajaya is a haven for sustainable human development from within this growing nation.
